Reelify AI — Privacy Policy

What data we access

When you install Reelify, the app reads product data from your Shopify store via the Shopify Admin API using the read_products scope. This includes product titles, descriptions, images, and prices. We use this data to generate video scripts and render videos.

We also access shop-level brand assets (logo and handle) via the Admin API to overlay your brand on rendered videos.

What data we store

On our servers we persist:

• Your shop domain and OAuth session tokens (required to call Shopify on your behalf)
• Generated scripts (script text + metadata) tied to your shop
• Rendered video files (MP4s)
• A record of each render (for quota counting)
• Your active subscription plan

We do not store, access, or process any storefront customer data, order data, or personally identifiable information about your customers.

Third-party processors

• OpenAI — generates script text. We send only the product information you select, plus the format options you choose. No customer data is sent.
• ElevenLabs — generates voiceover audio from script text.
• Cloudflare — hosts the application, database, and rendered video files.

Data deletion

When you uninstall Reelify, all data we hold for your shop is automatically deleted: sessions, scripts, render history, billing records, and rendered video files. Shopify also sends us a shop/redact request approximately 48 hours after uninstall, which triggers a second pass to delete anything missed.

If a customer in your store submits a data request under GDPR or similar laws, Shopify forwards it to Reelify. Because we do not store any storefront customer data, our response is to acknowledge the request and confirm no data is held.
